Warren sabotaged her chances at the presidency when she misassumed a need to overexplain plans that would never actually come to fruition, anyway. Policy designs run through such a barrage of planning processes and legislative edits that it’s an absurdity to even try to speak to them with any kind of exactness on the campaign trail. They exist mostly as ambitions, and by not realizing that she torpedoed herself. All that’s been left since is the question of whether or not she can salvage some amount of influence over the direction of the party.
She’s also faced a lot of in-party attacks from Sanders troops, who mistakenly think that her followers are Bernie Bros just waiting to happen.

Warren was doing really well when she was selling what she was - a progressive with a little the ability to govern. Then she made 2 critical errors: 1) she wasn’t prepared for the raising taxes on the middle class question on health care and 2) she tried to position herself as somewhere in the middle in between the far left and center left. She’s just much better when she’s herself.

Warren's had plenty of media coverage opportunities to change the narrative that Biden is the only viable contender. And Biden gave her a lot of help by showing up to the first few debates as a sickly geriatric. But Warren didn't seize the opportunity and take it over the top. Not because anyone took it from her or held her back; but because she didn't have the goods.
She is intelligent, but she lacks sufficient leadership qualities. She is impulsive. She is inconsistent.
She is not the franchise point guard.
She is a quality role player that rotates in off the bench and might get hot at the right time in key games. And might just roll an egg in others.
Basically, Elizabeth Warren is J.R. Smith.

Steven Yeun has officially endorsed Andrew Yang. It's a wrap.

I understand that this whole thing is a smoke blowing sham, but this is the worst response you could have. Jesus Christ.

“Actually, it’s perfectly fine to ignore subpoenas if you don’t agree with them, as far as I’m concerned,” says the guy whose entire platform is a fantasy-world return to normalcy.

Surely something damaging would shake loose if he testified. Not the stuff they are shouting about, but... something. It's a tough spot to be in and he should have deflected with something better.

Some interesting stuff here. Basically, Bloomy spending a half a billion dollars on attack ads against Trump - not going after Dem candidates in the primary - just already targeting Trump in electoral college swing states and flooding the airwaves.
and you guys hate this billionaire? talk about taking one for the team

But they do. And they aren't going away anytime soon in our society. I'm fine with what Bloomberg is doing with his advertising if it gets Voldemort out of office
