I guess I owe Verm an apology. I'm sorry, buddy. I didn't mean to piss you off. I just think this whole Kanye/Swift thing is absurd and I wanted to express that.

I don't think I was being obsinate because never at any point did someone offer a counter argument or attempt to persuade me toward a different opinion.

Perahaps you found my posts obnoxious. But if I was obnoxious its because I felt undermined, dismissed out of hand, and then attacked for no reason. Again, my apologies. Perhaps I misread others' posts to me. And/or others misread my initial post.

At the end of the day, I really don't care about any of this. So, I suppose I didn't need to speak up at all about it. I just kept seeing people blast Taylor Swift and take so much joy in this perceived "GOTCHA!" moment that isn't a gotcha moment at all. And that's a bit disgusting to me. Taking that much joy in someone else's "embarassment" and frankly deserved outrage is so fucking icky. I was tired of seeing that all over social media so I came her to post one little comment about it.

That actually makes sense. I sometimes take the internet far more seriously than most. Usually I'm wanting to have an actual conversation about things and I should get it through my head that most others just aren't as interested in that.
