I don’t really have an opinion on any of this, am just asking the question.
they can be near our kids as long as they're not "garish"!

I don't believe any of the laws specifically cite that, but I'd be shocked beyond belief if someone didn't quickly start accusing a transgender person of performing in the wrong clothes.
we have to contend with the fact that visually, there is no workable definition of what a "drag queen" and a trans woman may look like; you've just got to be brave and trust that we're less likely to be predators than any given child's uncle

Do you think this guy hates drag queens in "lingerie" shoving sex down his kids' throats?

Arkansas’s going to address drag queen storytime by making sure those kids are at work anyway. Genius.

I just realized the kids were giving the finger too.
Classy!

The beauty of being a totally enlightened, unbiased thinker like myself - who is above such partisan bickering - is that I can suggest keeping kids away from that type of thing as well.

NPR journalist Meghna Chakrabarti interviews Hannah Barnes what happen at the UK's Tavistock’s gender identity clinic, radically changing the UK's approach vs what we do in the US:

Conservatives famously made child beauty pageants a civil rights issue, don't you recall? They are being terribly inconsistent here.

I'm just glad I got to transition before it closed
(also, it's definitely not "the UK's only dedicated identity clinic", that's a flat-out untruth)

What's the difference between banning someone and categorically banning them?

All I ask for is decency. That applies to everyone. And that should be the message, right? Even though we may look different, we're nice, trustworthy people.
What do you think of PJ supporting "trans kids"

I saw a picture of Mike standing in front of a banner for trans kids. I have been a fan since I was a boy all those years ago, I was already growing out of being a fan of any band, I love music but as we grow as adults certain things are just not of importance. I have retired from any interest in PJ, I was a massive fan since I was 13, right when they came out, I not only knew their songs by heart but also the interviews! I just cannot support or care about a band supporting something so off the rails. How many of these kids have parents who are pressuring them into this before they can rationally make such drastic decisions? Organs should never be removed from a body unless it is diseased, and a childs organs no less! Come on now. I'm sure I will get hate for this post, but is anyone else totally turned off by this? I was already kinda irked by Ed pushing big pharma on people, he means well but anyone paying attention knew that the shots have major issues and don't work well. It was like "DUDE WE KNOW ABOUT THE VAX NO NEED TO REMIND US ITS AVAILABLE"

It depends on how many of these trans kids were born male and have now gotten their way into girls sports.
