I have (very few) male friends, and they don't give me that

part of respecting me is respecting my right to discern whether "typical male shit" is happening

I don’t understand why just like, a “different kind of man” can’t be enough. We’re all so very different. Cis male doesn’t cover the depth of a Rob or Burt or me. Can’t we just leave those words alone and be more creative and understanding with them?

I made it a point to say gender is fluid and should be respected. Even conceded that we differ on what science says and said fine (even though you're disagreeing). I was respectful to you the the whole time. I wonder if your experience has led you to a conclusion based only on feelings. And yes, I realize how this reads, so let me acknowledge that I don't know a damn thing about you or your life, but that's how it comes across to a general audience.
