You guys should see the National in the UK. They sell out appropriately sized venues and the crowds are generally good natured. Never more than 5000 person shows.

On that note, venues are better in the UK now for me if they have good beer available. If I have to go to a stadium to see a band I like and I am forced to throw back horrible mass produced fizzy beer for £10 a pop it really ruins the experience.

When I saw them in 2007, the venue was so small that I peed at the urinal next to one of the Dessners.

This year (but really last year’s) Cherry Tree release has started to go out; mine hasn’t arrived, but here are the details from Reddit:
It’s a 2xLP recording of their show from November 12, 2007 in Belgium. I saw them for the first time about a month before this show, I’m excited to listen.
