Miami set not one but two first round picks on fire!!! What a frustrating franchise to root for.

We won't have a chance if we don't at least get Tua and Armstead back.

That game against the Jets was hard to watch. Our passing offense is inept without Tua. Happy to see the run game coming along, though. That was nice.

I wouldn't mind seeing Miami or Buf in the SB to be honest. Gotta pull for the division.

I hope he never plays another down, and finds a safer employment opportunity.

What about all the other NFL players who have had multiple concussions this season?

I hope they do the same. I get that it might be what you've got your heart set on, or maybe you feel like it's your only way to earn a living. I'd argue that while it might pay well for some, the risks clearly outweigh the rewards. Additionally, if you're making a lot of money, but requiring medical help, those bills will only add up. What about the brainpower it'll take to perform basic human functions?

Easy for me to armchair quarterback a solution to someone who's likely dreamed and worked for their entire life. On top of that, I love watching football so much, so I'm rooting for these guys to go out and inflict irreparable harm on their bodies...and for what? My entertainment...or to see the joy on their faces when they've achieved high-level outcomes at the highest level of their sport.

I'm a sicko too I guess.

Yeah I understand. It just irks me when one player gets singled out. They should probably just cancel the sport altogether if so many people care this much about concussions (which they should).

I get that too. I think when I see Tua or Hamlin, as a recent example, I can't help thinking...geez...these guys are both 24yo. They haven't even had a long existence yet.

The thing about football is that when you're watching it and everyone is hitting their respective assignments, and the run game is killing it, and pass routes look pretty, etc...it's quite a thing of beauty. And yes, dudes are beating up their bodies in the trenches and beyond when everyone is doing their job, and we don't always see the end result until later.

Honestly, I'm torn. It pains me to see these kids...because some of them are kids to me...losing so much of their lives for spectators and shiny objects...and the ROI seems low.

According to stats:
There are approximately 0.41 concussions per NFL game of American football: 67.7% of concussions involve impact by another player's helmet, 20.9% involve impact by other body regions (e.g., a knee), and 11.4% involve impact on the ground (29, 31, 32, 40)
I definitely would not want to play (didn't), and won't want my children to play.

It's there, it's on TV, so I watch it, and as each year passes, I watch more trepidatiously.
