Initial buzz seems positive. Reviews start hitting tomorrow

Accidentally (sorta) saw a spoiler-full review of the movie. I'm definitely more interested than I was. Though the big denouement is, well...never mind. I'm sure (hoping?) that it's better on film than on the computer screen.

Though I do wonder about Zack Snyder. I swear I saw an interview with him where he said kryptonite was stupid (Google is failing me, though it could also just be Teh Int34net being hyperbolic) and yet here we are.

The DC fans have been a bit aggressive with this film. One of the slashfilm writers was bombarded on twitter because he tweeted something that was slightly critical of the film. People are great.

Marvel does suck though

Serious business, this business of superheroes.

This can be a complete disaster but it might be worth it to see a different take on Batman.

This film at two hours and thirty minutes is too long and depends too much on big fight scenes and splashy effects. And to think there's an R rated version coming with 30 extra minutes on bluray?!

Die hard fans are going to hate it more than most, but it's doubtful that even being used as a seed bed for DC to grow into future Justice League films if that can carry with the casual fan.

There were enough things I liked in the trailers (Batflex and Luthor, mostly) and I've heard good things about WW. It wouldn't shock me if this was good. I expect it'll be a heavy handed Snyder story, and if you go in for that it'll be everything you want. I tend to kinda like his stuff, and I presume I'll kinda like this.

9% on RT. I presume this will go up (and the one review I read seemed as much about genre fatigue as it did the movie) but that's an ugly start

This is exactly what I was afraid of, and almost exactly what I thought when I saw the trailer

Then along comes Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor...the character is going to be an acquired taste — it’s not difficult to imagine him popping up in one of the Joel Schumacher Batman films.
