that's another thing I was about to bring up, they're definitely doing an obnoxious caricature of the sing-song-y wacky radio dj voice

Yep. That's in there, too.

How much have you studied improv, Pete?

Is it okay to love/understand 100% chud’s reaction to this stupid podcast you guys have been talking about all month without ever having actually taken the time to listen to the podcast?

I’m starting to hate the hosts on some of the podcasts I already listen to as it is, so I don’t doubt that.

Thanks for the bump. Unplugged on the ride in to work tonight hit the spot for a wintery Sunday. I listened to that CD so much that I still know exactly where the scratch skips are. My initials are even sharpie’d on it from back in the day.

Here’s an in-no-way-definitive, off the top of my head top ten:

Floyd the Barber
Serve the Servants
All Apologies
Scentless Apprentice
On a Plain
Turnaround (I know, I know. A cover. Still, those sessions were great and I consider this a Nirvana song. I have no idea why I live it so much.)
D-7
Gallon of Rubbing Alcohol Flowing Through the Strip
Blew
Frances Farmer

Huh. Never heard too much Devo (stupid radio stations) so this is new to me.

The Document episode of R U Talkin' was probably my favorite yet.

I still don't really have a problem with Scott. Shrug. I actually found myself agreeing with him on the second half of the record, which I've always thought was kind of weak.

I think his fart story in the first half is the first time I've legitimately LOL'd at the show, too.

I've kept listening and I think how much I dislike him varies from episode to episode, and often depends on how mean he is being to Adam. I still think he is fixated on certain musical ideas to the detriment of the potential analysis they could do, but I guess this is a comedy podcast first and foremost
