This is the original, I take it.

I really want to see it. The thing looks kind of amazing. I'm also fairly interested in the new one but I want to see the original first.
It’s only the best movie ever made but like nbg take your time I guess

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. A Star Is Born.

Cooper has such a great eye. Its like Malick. The photography is monumental.....nobody shoots like this anymore. Amazing.
Lady Gaga was fucking incredible. What a star. The camera loves her.

The movie has a lot of flaws but damn, its precious.

"50 Shades Freed"

Wife's call on this one since she just read those books. It was awful, the opposite of sexy, with a plot so mindlessly stupid it makes those Jesus-powered Hallmark movies look like Phillip K. Dick.

I know Bradley Cooper got a lot from watching Ed Ved for his performance, but i was thinking of Chris Cornell all the time.

I did like it. But I didn't love it. The performances are absolutely worth the price of admission, though.

but did you get laid after?
Nope. In light of world politics and social change the idea of a vulnerable young woman being submissive to the rather extreme sexual demands of a damaged wealthy man seems... a little tone deaf.

Not gonna speak for others, but imagination nearly always trumps what’s on the screen. Plus the actress cast as Anastasia was like high school drama club level snooze. Great body, but zero talent and overshadowed by the sexier and talented Rita Ora.
