Good morning. I just read your review of Pearl Jam's Gigaton, and while I agree with a 3/5 rating, you made many errors in your write-up. Firstly, their last record was not ‘Lightening Speed’ (2013), it was Lightning Bolt. Secondly, the song is not Superblood Woman, it's Superblood Wolfmoon, and you have a spelling error following, as you wrote "am album highlight". Third, Hail Hail was not released in 2011, it was released with their album No Code back in 1996. A simple Google search could have helped you so much here. Then, you mention "hip-shaking swagger and clever time signatures". I'm not sure what song you were listening to, but if you are talking about Superblood Wolfmoon, you might have been listening to the wrong song. It is in a very simple 4/4 throughout. Then, you misspelled Mike McCready's name, as Mcreedy. Then you say "2002’s ‘Riot Act’, which was all furious punk medleys". This is incorrect. The album simply is not filled with all punk medleys. Finally, you wrote "But the question is whether anyone is still listening any more? With this multi-faceted record, the answer is likely yes. It just won’t change your life". Question mark shouldn't be at the end of that first statement. Please do a little bit of research next time you publish a review like this. This is embarrassing for you and NME. Thank you.

It’s hardly a surprise. NME imploded, tried to rebrand as an online only free magazine, failed, and was sold to some company in Singapore. All that’s left is a brand.

You come across as a total jerk here, especially at the end.

Well she deserves it, don't you think? How do you publish something like this? At least read it over first. It's as if she's making it up off the top of her head.

Yes there is helpful stuff in there but the tone is so mean that she'd have to be a pretty big person to thank you for it.

I'm not asking for her gratitude. I just want her to know she fucked up and that there are people actually paying attention.

yeah call me a jerk and then go on being yourself all the time. Hypocritical much?

by the way, i don't mind coming across as a 'jerk' here, and why should I? How do you get paid to review an album and then write this garbage?
