A wing/guard can't shoot 25 percent from 3 (on pretty regular attempts) and be an all star. DISQUALIFIED

Carmelo is now saying he wants to retire as a Blazer. He's been a huge help this season, but I already like what Ariza is doing for us more. Not sure there'll be minutes for both of them with Nurk, Collins & Hood back.

And for those not local/following closely, Nurk is coming back in February, Collins in March & Hood not til next season.

Not really. Mostly at the 3. Clifford has been starting either Khem Birch at the 4 next to Vuc or occassionally Wes Iwundu at the 3 and Gordon at the 4.
The No Dunks guys did Birch on the nickname game. I think they ended up with Khem "clorophyll" Birch.
I only recognize one name in this post
You really expect me to believe you've never heard of the mighty Wes Iwundu? The pride of Kansas State

Seriously though, before the injury Jonathan Isaac was probably on his way to an all defensive team nod.

Westbrook is shooting 24% from three: NOT AN ALL STAR

Great to see Sabonis make the squad. I was so thrilled when the Magic drafted him and about wanted to cry when they immediately traded him and Oladipo away for Ibaka which later turned into Terrence Ross. Talk about a boneheaded trade.

I've been seeing a lot of complaining about Sabonis and Middleton. Ex: if you dropped Middleton on the Bulls he wouldn't do a thing! Those shooting percentages are no joke. Likewise I think Sabonis is third in double doubles.

Sabonis should definitely be an All-Star this year.

I'm glad that LeBron already passed Kobe last weekend. Can you imagine how awkward it would be if he would have passed him tonight in his first game after Kobe's death? That would have been tough to watch.

I had this same thought too.

LeBron has probably already asked Silver to replay the game. I heard there have also been discussions on making Kobe retroactive owner of each franchise with the league rebranded as the KBA. Man, I hope the ghost of Kobe fires Garpax.

Especially sad about Kobe because he took Tatum under his wing, training/teaching him stuff in the off-season and now Tatum is an all-star for the first time. He credits Kobe (and Popovich) as two guys who have really helped him develop. The Lakers and Celtics hate each other, but for Kobe to "train" the enemy, I mean, that's just a sign that he loved great basketball. RIP.

All respect to Kobe and what not but the worst thing that happened to Tatum last season was Mamba Mentality.

The dunk on LeBron is what set him back

The long contested 2's all last season was Mamba but yes the dunk didn't help.
