I saw a tweet that said the irony is that if the wb had not followed proper protocol, the press would be protecting them instead of trying to expose them.

I think we should all be able to admit that Trump saying he wishes we could execute the whistleblower is very scary for the whistleblower and just insanely fucking funny for everyone else.

I can’t quite get my brain around the idea that Trump can continue to serve after threatening the sources of the whistleblower. That’s an offense all on its own right? I mean if someone told my boss I did something wrong and I went and physically threatened that person I am pretty sure I would be fired on the spot.

Your analogy is flawed. It would be like you discovering your main boss did something wrong, you went to your supervisor to determine what action to take, then the main boss threatening your life.

He's made a similar comment dozens of times--about football, protestors, etc. It's quite clear he has a sense of the "old days" and macho violence. Which is unbearably funny because he's such a little petty bitch.
