Sort of like a cross between cornbread and pancakes. You get light fluffy pancakes with the grit and flavor of cornmeal.
Any particular recipe you use?
This sounds similar to someting we had when I was a kid, fried conrbread. I'm wondering if it's the same thing.

I'd imagine it's still a poured pancake batter, just not as smooth on the skillet.

The question then becomes a syrup question. I'd go 100% pure cane syrup on that. Trag, what are you working with here?
