That's why you let in ticket holders OR Ten Club members!
I am on board with this approach. It would cut down on the homeless people buying stuff and limit some of the flippers. The worst flippers I know are in the 10C.
I shouldn't say this to someone who's hooking me up, but my thoughts are that it costs a lot to be in the 10C and go to shows. I wouldn't judge someone for picking up a couple extra things, and putting them on e-bay. As long as they are asking a fair price and not buying out the merch tent, it gives those of us in Pearl Jam drought territory a chance to pick up cool stuff.
Not everyone is lucky enough to have awesome friends like me.

Little help though, I’m curious.
Can’t make out the design on the back of the silver keychain. What is that?
What does it say all over the back of the black “Revolt” shirt?
It's St. Christopher holding a mic stand instead of a staff.
I was wondering about that too.
Back of Revolt shirt is dates and locations of all past Seattle shows. Pretty cool.
Yeah that is pretty cool.
Does that mean that these are the last ever Seattle shows? Because if not, the shirt becomes irrelevant.

You'll wear out the shirt before they do it again.

Being serious, bc honestly I have no idea. But is merch this big of a deal with other bands? Or is this special to Pearl Jam? I just don’t ever recall seeing insane merch lines at other big band shows I’ve been to. Lines, of course, but not hours long lines.

Also my first thought. But I still think it’s pretty cool.

No way I'm waiting 5 hours in line in Missoula for a poster, and your cards. 2 is about my max

That's about when I was done, too, but then I could see I was more than half-way there.

Those merch stands are open all week. I wonder what it's like today and tomorrow when people are at work. They must think they have plenty of stuff.

Controversial opinion: I would much rather have one of the various promo posters for the shows than any of the actual posters.

Locals may be working, but the out of towners are already arriving (we get A LOT for Seattle shows) and will be there all week. There were several people there yesterday that came straight from the airport and were in line with their suitcases in hand and their boarding passes in their shirt pockets. Plus the flippers will go each day and there are lots of homeless people to recruit right there.

They're gonna hafta figure out something. Paying homeless people to wait in line is some 90's Ticketmaster bullshit! I'm not even saying they shouldn't let the general public at this stuff. They should just find a way to give first crack to Certified Fans ©. Who knows, maybe they'll be stuff left at the end off this, and Pearl Jam will have made suckers out of everyone who showed up yesterday and waited in line for 4 hours.
