Cross country skiing is the most prestigious here, but Russia has dominated that these games. A few gold have gone our way though.

Fnished now. Closed for spectators because of covid, and was placed in a windy and cold place. But the athletes made this a great olympics.

I feel bad for the athletes, not their fault, but the US is going to get booed so much during these games. Especially in the opening ceremony.

We usually suck at this. Couple of competent snowboarders in the mix. But the coverage for the games has been extremely muted.
I guess there's bigger fish to fry right now.

I had to Google if there was skiing in New Zealand. Figured your Olympians had to train somewhere else but looks like it's a thing.

The drone shots during downhill are really great, you can really feel the speed and it gives you a better angle of what the skiers actually see. They had it yesterday during the luge too but this is more impactful.
