Not sure what is worse. The fact that I thought for sure Stip wouldn't bullshit anyone or that I don't care in the slightest that there really aren't any new PJ songs.

Yea but getting emotional/upset over an RM prank is a little bit more ridiculous. Just a little....

I haven't read any emotional responses. All I've seen is "I believed stip" "you were dumb to believe stip" "it was lame this didn't happen on April 1st" "the fact that there are no new songs is kind of a meh".

Wow, I’ve just read this thread. Surprising reactions.

Oh my goodness, I just heard some new fully produced Pearl Jam songs. I was told they are the songs the band just finished up in the studio for the new album. I was also told the band will not be releasing said album until June of 2014. I will try to have these songs and share them with the people here on this website around the very end of March/early April 2014. I know that sounds fishy with April Fools day being around this time but don't worry. I thought about not mentioning this until AFTER april fools 2014 but have decided not to wait. I know this website has a huge reputation for april fools pranks but this isn't one of them this time. I also have a picture that the band plans to use for the new album, for some reason they are using a Yield press photo.

Here are the song titles:

Days Like This
You Kulele
Believed In
Scrambled
Life After Death
Sex On Kindle
Of The Earth
Requiem
Forgotten

Again, I will have these posted here with a write up of each song by the beginning of next April. The person who gave these to me had them posted on a torrent site for 10 minutes so I could get them. I don't know why he didn't just send these songs through an email? I couldn't figure that out but that's how I got them. For those wondering why a fan like me was the one given these songs out of the millions of fans out there...............I assume it's because I post on a second rate Pearl Jam message board. I would have assumed they would have given them to an actual moderator of the board because they have more of an in connection with the band and the bands friends than I do.............because they are moderators for heaven sake..............but nope, they gave them to me.

Okay see you around early April 2014....bearing brand new never before heard Pearl Jam songs!!!!!!!!!!

I fell for this only because Stip was involved.....having met him in person and knowing him on this board over the last decade or so, I never thought he'd participate in an April Fool's joke like this (especially such a poorly executed one).

That said, Stip is by far the most positive RMer on this board and has contributed a ton of great content in this space, so for that I forgive him.

I also forgive B because he does a great job with the blog.
