Noel's demos are superior to anything he's officially released, lol. I made a Noel exclusive demo/b-sides mix last year when Don't Stop was released that destroys anything from the High Flying Turds:
Lord, Don't Slow Me Down
Don't Stop
I Wanna Live In A Dream (In My Record Machine)
Stop The Clocks
Can You See It Now
Waiting For The Rapture (alternate take)
The Turning (alt. take)
Falling Down (alt. take)
Those Swollen Hand Blues
Gas Panic
Where Did It All Go Wrong
(As Long As They've Got) Cigarettes In Hell
One Way Road
Carry Us All
Full On
Just Getting Older
Shout It Out Loud
Sitting Here In Silence (On My Own)
Get over yourself, call Liam & get the band back together. The world NEEDS an Oasis reunion.

Any way u can pm me these demos

But seriously, this reunion is gonna move the needle on an unprecedented level. They won't rush it.
Unless Liam needs a new liver I don't see a reunion ever happening. They'd probably sell more tickets than the Re-resurrection of Christ but I don't believe either brother wants to give the other any satisfaction.

Really? I’ve never thought they were all that popular. Wonderwall is the only tune I can think of by them that was a hit and is actually the only one by them I can even name. I just don’t remember them as being extra super popular.

«The band have sold an estimated 75 million records worldwide and been cited by Guinness World Records as the most successful act in the United Kingdom between the years 1995 and 2005. Oasis had 22 consecutive UK top 10 hits between 1994 to 2008.»

Actually they are still immensely popular here in the US, all tours that crossed the pond did exceptionally well. Now, part of that is that the tours were really only on an album cycle and that also aids demand. They are also an incredible draw in East Asia.

Just a tiny bit of popularity in a country as big as the US can change everything. If you take James, Laid in the UK bombed compared to Sit Down in the UK. Laid in the US bombed compared to Laid in the UK. But it was enough to make one of them quit due to touring exhaustion. Bands like Oasis came at just the right time, even when you only consider Grunge being popular in Britain and Ireland. They were real, working class, didn't dress up, and wrote songs about normal life. They were basically a European Grunge band.

They were one of the biggest bands in Northern Europe as well, for a long time.

Pulp, Suede and Verve are so underrated in the US
they even changed Suede's name

Pulp only have one great song I think. Suede performed every day during a festival I went to. Saw them a few times. Good live band. Verve are great.

Interesting re: every day of a festival. I love the idea of a band doing a tour of a festival, different stage every day.

Oasis are overbearingly representative of their time which has taken away from some half decent bands. Probably hard to fully explain unless you were on dole/ shit money in the UK and Ireland during the mid nineties. Believe me when I say Seattle bands appeared exotic..
They definitely stole a lot (Noel still does, holy Christ) which is pretty clever upon reflection but many of the tunes do stand the test of time.
There’s a complexity to the brothers relationship which belies the knuckle dragging bleating of Liam via twatter. However, Noel loves the attention and a pound note and Liam the same. Noel has also recently been talking a fair bit about the decline of guitar music. They will eventually reunite for a very short time, in the sunshaaaaynne then continue to act like utter wankers.
