Yeah, me too. As a young child, I used to fall asleep to this movie all the time at my grandma's house. I get a little sleepy just thinking about it.
Same thing happens with me and episodes of MASH.
That MASH theme song makes me sleepy, too.
It used to come on right after Star Trek: The Next Generation when I was a kid. My mom would let me stay up to watch TNG but as soon as MASH came on and I heard that song, it meant it was time to go to bed. As such it still makes me tired when I hear it.
would you put Data's sentience at or above that of the tree_ account's?
tree_ account's experience is about as subjective as it gets, bub.
I was gonna say "at" but then I read this reply... and now I'm not so sure.
This sorta unnecessary cruelty is why I didn't put you in the script and considered extending it and making you Shere Khan.. but you're not strong enough for his role and I couldn't figure out who would fit...
Settle down, champ. It was a joke.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
