he who remains was Kang. or at least a variant of kang (based on the outfit id almost say it is the immortus version of kang). ill admit i was a little worried that the kang in the MCU was going to be a bit of a joker. as he explained to the loki's in detail he basically won the kang war and was what he thought the best option as he didnt want to rule as so much keep things in order. sylvie kills him and as he said there will be a kang to take his place now that the time lines are all out of control. when loki returns to the TVA their timeline was affected and thus never met this variant loki so they are trying to assess what is actually going on with the time lines when loki shows up. the statue at the end points to kang being behind the TVA and not the time keepers

Thanks Peeps I appreciate that explanation.

So kang now rules the timeline. Loki is stuck in a different reality seperate from the one Silvie existed in.

She’s at a bit of a loose end now though right?
She’s achieved her objective so what now? I know it won’t be that simple but I think she’ll be back too. Least I hope we see her come back.

Not necessarily. There will be multiple Kangs now, each vying for rule. Does the End of Time still exist now that there are multiple time lines?
Sylvie has Kang's wrist thing, so she can go anywhere, any time I suspect.
Loki is at the TVA and that seems to be outside the time lines, perhaps they can find each other.
I think Ravonna's the wildcard. What's she gonna get up to?

thats the thing. it can go in so many directions now. i havent seen anything directly naming it but i think loki took place in the quantum zone and that is how kang is the big bad for the next ant-man and the wasp. this also opens the door for mutants and the fantastic four to come into the MCU since there could be a subtle shift in the time line. its just too early to tell now how its going to go but it should be pretty good

back to spikes statement about loki just setting up the other movies. while thats affirmative that has also been the MO from the get go. each movie is its own story but has subplots that tie into the greater scheme of things. you have to expect each movie is setting up the next one and so forth

Quantum zone = Limbo = Negative Zone

i really liked this one...its interesting Loki is the one who meets Krang and then Sylvie fucks up everything. I liked that Loki has now the info about the upcoming Multiwar.

so this also opens the door for tony and steve to come back right?

Because they are stupid people who have to have a different name for everything. Even tho it’s the same fucking character. It’s Thor. He’s a frog. He’s still Thor.

Going by that stupid logic everybody should be calling the Loki variant Allokigator or some other stupid ass thing.

That’s not the same character. It’s not actually Thor. It’s Simon Walterson. That’s not the same frog.
