My wife got an orchid as a gift last June. I've never in my life been able to keep them alive. This one stayed bloomed all summer, lost its flowers, and now is inside and blooming again. It's a miracle.

Mrs. Bam bought an indoor avocado tree a few weeks ago and it promptly died in our care.

i got a giant spring planting catalogue mailed to me today and i am fighting so hard not to order anything

I went nuts in the depths of the pandemic early last year and over ordered

all these boxes of bulbs started arriving in the fall

managed to plant it all

if even half of it grows i will be living in amazonia

Daffodils here. A couple days near 80 and things are sprouting. I look forward to spring but also dread some of the work in the yard I know is coming

What kinds of plants do well in a rooftop garden? Going to get pretty consistent sun up there, was thinking mostly herbs but interested in other ideas.

Rosemary does well in the sun, smells nice, and keeps mosquitos away

Yeah I was definitely thinking rosemary, basil, cilantro, and mint. Trying to fill a three tier planter. I'm looking to do some tomatoes too but I want to have those in their own pots.

Don't speak too soon Len, if any of these plants express support for Kyle Rittenhouse I will tell them to kill themselves.
