Bill brought up the social media impact and how the setlist goes out immediately and people investigate it -- Jeff then commented on how people will complain about it and they were not even at the show, say it was a horrible show

That’s sad, that those albums don’t have the legacy they deserve.

I listen to plenty of music that has received far less recognition than Pearl Jam, and while I wish those talented musicians all the best, not everyone can top the charts. Sometimes it’s great making music that resonates with a smaller crowd.

But that’s not the case for that period, it’s just incredibly good. Another level.

Me too. But - and thank goodness - pj are still mostly filling arenas and stadiums. They have an obligation to more than just us hardcore. Ed obviously even talks about that and set lists
And he tries to please everyone (pj20 film) they generally do a good job of covering all their bases. Moreso than other bands at their level.

Sure. Sometimes I wish they were a smaller outfit and could do smaller shows and play the albums I love most.

Oh well. What a wonderful thing to be annoyed about. They’ve been around too long, I’ve seen them too many times, they have too much great music.

The track lengths on the boot are ominous.
