Ok yeah I think that makes sense. Risk paying now, non-refundable, guy gets hurt or whatever and keeps the money.

Why would the player ever resist doing this?

Why do they make it sound like the player is helping the team by doing this?
i don't know why a player would resist - maybe bc their agent gets a cut so it's a net loss after transaction fees

they are helping the team bc it allows them to manage the salary cap better

to hire more players to get injured right before the superbowl so pat mahomes can play with an injured toe behind britt reid at LT
I mean, they praise the player for doing it. Like he’s a martyr or something.

Sounds like a slam dunk for the player and absolutely no reason ever not to do it. Fuck the fkn agent.
so are we gonna bang or are you just gonna talk all night

Joey, you're going to love Bolton. That guy is a tackling machine.

You think he's finally going to break out this year? I'm not seeing a lot of depth beyond Hill there.

And now that I know what EMAW means, it must have hurt to see Darren Sproles go to a division rival. I know it hurt for me when I badly wanted him on the Broncos while Shanny made the worst draft pick in at least his history with Maurice Clarett instead.

There's a name. I forgot about him.

What made the Sproles move even worse is that were didn't just go to college together. We went to high school together! We also went to the same grade school and junior high. I know Darren, well... Knew him, growing up. Did yeah that really sucked when he went to the Bolts. But it did make me pay more attention to team and hate them a little less for a while.

I don't know if Pringle (EMAW!) will ever be a superstar. He's a role player. But he runs precise routes. He has great hands. His attitude and positivity are infectious. He's got heart and wants it. I think it's highly likely that he'll be the go-to #3. If Hardman doesn't make the leap he absolutely MUST make early in this season, expect Pringle to be the #2 (for better or worse). That's a role he may struggle in, honestly. But it always helps having MVPat throwing you the ball.

Also, Reek, Trav, and Clyde are superstars. And there's only so many defenders. You get all these guys on the field at the same time, one of them will be open. If it's Pringle, I trust him to make the play. He'll probably never create a play out of thin air like Kelce or Hill can. But we also probably won't need him to.

The Chiefs last three losses:
Bengals
Titans
Bills

Not great, Dan.

As much as I love and trust KC, I think the Bucs have a higher percentage chance of returning than the Chiefs do, honestly.

The chiefs need your full confidence this weekend.
