I love all versions of Gone. I just loved it as a b-side for fans. I thought it was going to be that for life. When they decided to put it on an album it took all the wind out of it for me. I think there's a pretty big difference with Parting Ways and something like this. I mean, Sleeping By Myself isn't some stowaway on a bootleg demo collection. It was released on a studio record (wasn't it even a single from it?) It's been out there for years. I don't think it's a reason to sink the whole ship, but you can't see why someone wouldn't feel a little bit like that's a wasted opportunity, considering it's been four years since a PJ record? They may be proven wrong by how great the song, but it's a perfectly reasonable tact to take to the news that they're including it.stip wrote:
