I hope they don't end the last episode of the season with the line "We are a new type of force wielder, we shall be called..... the Sith"

That’s gotta prick up some ears here, surely
THE ACOLYTE creator Leslye Headland confirms the show will incorporate material from EU / Legends
“There's also some EU lore that I decided to put in because I thought it was so cool and no one told me I couldn't. There are a couple of really big EU ideas that are utilized both early on in the series and later in the series”

I’m gonna be that guy. But I can already see the complaint too much diversity, not enough actual aliens.
There’s far more species in the galaxy than the various strands of the one human species.

That one cave entrance they were standing on reminded me of the cave on the island Luke was on in the sequels. Wasn't that place a Jedi Temple of sorts?

Re: Star Wars: Acolyte
I liked the look of this better when it was a shaky phone camera version taken at Comic-Con. I see Volume and static camera shots and I start getting angry. My instincts sensing mediocrity after seeing initial trailers have been correct with Mando, Boba, and Obi-Wan so far. Hope I’m wrong with this one.
Two episode premiere probably means nothing much is gonna happen in the first episode.
Prove me wrong, Kathy!

Re: Star Wars: Acolyte
A couple scenes had a Crouching Tiger vibe. I always thought that was the best movie about Jedis that wasn't about Jedis. Like Master and Commander is a great Star Trek movie.

Re: Star Wars: Acolyte
If they actually took that approach, it could be great. But, to date, they haven’t had enough talent running these shows to pull something like that that off. If anything, this’ll feel like they asked an AI to create a show about Jedis that feels like Crouching Tiger and shoehorns in a bunch of random EU stuff for fanboy service.
