It's a soap opera with fun characters. I agree it's far from great but to me it's worth it just to spend time with Tom, Greg?, and Shiv's ass@SkitchP wrote:Honestly, I don't know why this show is so loved. None of the characters have grown- they give you just enough moments of not being absolutely terrible people so you can't view them all entirely as villains. Which works with compelling characters (tony soprano, Omar, etc) but not these ones. There are moments where the attempts at comedic moments land, but even attempting to view it as a comedy doesnt work for me.
And I dont get the occasional moments where it just goes into "The Office" style camera zooms for a few shots, then doesn't do it again for 4 episodes.
It's okay, and im sure ill watch it when it comes back... but I don't get it.

Here's a good 1 minute skit stretched out to nearly 5 minutes, which is a fitting comparison to 3 seasons of Succession

I just started this show. I'm going to be watching it weekly with my sister so I'll be a long time until I'm done with it, but the pilot was really good and I'm looking forward to more.
