By the rules, it wasn't. The ball became loose in his hands and rolled on the ground under his left hand. The replay clearly showed that it wasn't secured through the entirety of the play.
The rules, much like the NFL itself, do no make sense
There were 2 clean hits called for personal foul in the Tampa game

The AJ Green/Charles Tillman battle has been real fun to watch.

College kids have been getting thrown out of games for form tackles this season as well. Its getting to be a bit of a joke....

Rey Maualuga is a moron.

That Falcons/Saints game was super entertaining.

Now, I need to figure out what the hell is wrong with the Pats.

Overall, I agree but Tillman got plenty of shots in there. In the end, however, Green's team lost.

Bills have the players to be able to put the game away but not the coaches.

At least they are fun to watch like I figured they would be.

Now, get Deirdorf and everyone else who loves Brady's sack out of the booth. Blaaah.

Man that one hurt, maybe Tampa will be in the clowney sweepstakes, though they may need a qb in the first round next year

They had the lead with 3+ min left and kill only 38 seconfs. Terrible.

The Ravens are looking really silly for trading away Anquan Boldin.
