He asked for help in the original Pearl Jam thread and I volunteered. I will slow down. Sorry for going too fast.

Its fine, i wasn't going to listen to imagine dragons anyway.
When i used to work at our office, the office manager would always have on the shittiest radio stations and pretty certain all they played was U2 and Imagine Dragons with a break for bluegrass.

98. Imagine Dragons - "Radioactive"
The opening to this song signals something fairly different to where it ends up going; sounds like a moody indie rock-folk thing. Instead we get a gymnasium chant-along that is just as annoying as most others of the sort. A monotonous snare beat and a grating rap-yell style vocal that are designed to mash your mind into submission, this would be quite effective propaganda music if it contained the right message. There are some details throughout that I've never noticed before, like the effects on the drums and the little guitar figure in the background, but this is probably the first time I've ever heard the song and actually tried to pay attention to it. Hard to believe this song is nearly ten years old.

I agree with all of this except that the song was named "Thunder". EDIT - Apologies, I was quite drunk when I posted this. I got confused as Chris posted "Thunder" above and I thought that was the song we were meant to listen to. I'm not now going to listen to "Radioactive" however, I assume it is not very far removed from "Thunder" anyways.
I have also never heard this song before. My wife doesn't believe me.

Okay, I have heard this Imagine Dragons song before but had no idea. Reminds me of that group fun that my wife loved for a bit. Nothing particularly excites me about it, but then again nothing about it makes me want to throw my listening device across the room and run away the same way #s 99 and 100 did. To that end, it is a success and I made it through the whole song…but there is no Imagine Dragons Journey forthcoming.
