how’s this for nostalgia: i remember when when Mickey told us he stuck his little pecker in a woman for the first time. now he’s a father and seeking a full professorship of comparative literature. now that’s wild when you think about it.tree_ wrote:it's just his way of reminding us that, though he hasn't posted since 2019, he remembers the old days, and has them in common with us, and therefore he must still be our friend and should be accepted thuslyJorge wrote:What did you call me

Re: AI-generated conversations between RMers
The key is to keep the prompt minimal. Give the conversation a very general direction and give your characters a name and an adjective or two. If you give it too much information, it ends up parroting back to you some of what you wrote and it loses some of its charm. In these recent conversation, I described Jorge as a tall and mischievous man, Lenny as a kind and mischievous man, Ello as a mean bully, and Argo as a gullible manAlex wrote:thoroughly impressed by Asher and ThePlatypus in this thread. they’ve got the “it” factor. and you can’t teach that, you just have to be born with it.

these reductionist tendencies are apt and incisive. but I worry about Lenny as “a mischevious man.” i believe, and know, him to be nothing other than the paragon of generosity, morality, and restraint (AKA the first three of the Six Paramitas). The Argonaut wrote:The key is to keep the prompt minimal. All I implied was that Argo had a punchable head. There are people out there who have actually punched him in the head. I didn't even do any head punching!
Unreal.
Unreal.
