I don't know what Mike does or what they do to mikes guitar but it always sounds awful when it comes in. That part is supposed to hit hard and sharp. He puts on this weird reverb that sounds like shit and his guitar is always buried in the mix for that song.

they've never gotten the levels right on this one

i heard the very first rendition live and it was almost unrecognizable

in that case the synths were impossible to hear

it's improved since then and this one was the best version i have heard so far but it's surprising how they still can't get this to snap

I love them both

I think the story behind Red Mosquito gives it an edge for me. And I just love the guitar tones. They are both great but "mopping the floor" is an irresponsible statement and trag is a monster.

Totally irresponsible.

RM as a whole is more enjoyable. The A++++ outro of 1/2 full keeps it in close competition but nod to RM
