I just finished Slough House as well! Watching the trailer for next season again, it seems like they’re going to lean harder on Slough House than they will on Joe Country. I jumped right into the next book because of the ending; I probably won’t finish the series before the end of the year but I certainly should early next year.

I was going to switch to something else, but I’m gonna have to go on to the next one too! Probably for the exact reason you did.

Got a late start on season 5 and just finished episode 5. The continued, utter incompetence of MI5 is getting tough to take.

Binged this show over the 2-3 weeks or so. Overall, it's thoroughly entertaining, but after 5 seasons definitely this:

very much done with Ho, zero growth in his character. Whelan being First Desk was also very annoying and unbelievable. Lamb and Taverner are the strongest characters by far. Coe is a new favorite too.

If you like Slow Horses, you should watch Unfamiliar on Netflix. It’s a German spy show—good stuff!

Yeah, lots of fun twist and turns. I’m through the first two episodes.

Also shout out to the guy who played adult Jonas in Dark who in this show play an adult named Jonas.

Since this thread has taken a wee tangent talking about adjacent shows. I read an article about this yesterday - said it could be Netflix's answer to Slow Horses. It looks pretty good from the trailer

Just watched the first episode. Loved it.

I just finished it. Was good. I hope they do a second season.
