doesn't look like it was the actual music video. maybe some shots from it mixed with other visuals? couldn't see the whole screen

Allman Brothers was the same. You’d leave the show with the boot in your hand.
I would have to presume those are straight soundboard feeds in that case, not mixed multitrack recordings like Pearl Jam are offering. That’s why it takes time.
Even back when Brett was pumping them out in a mobile studio out on the road to have them out as soon as possible (circa 2003-2005?), they sounded worse than the shows where he was given more time.
The bootlegs are one thing these guys do well.

I appreciate having one less thing to worry about on concert day. I've already gotta plan to go to the venue early to get a poster.

that would be a tough one for me
Ed’s version of Chloe Dancer would seem to argue against the use of AutoTune in the live shows.

That’s right, the visuals don’t appear synced.
I don’t think they’re playing to a click, I doubt Matt would go for that given some previous comments.

I haven’t listened closely. But it’s readily apparent on the album, and in both the Stern performance and the version of Setting Sun that closes out the Zane Lowe interview.
Say what? Gonna need some elaboration here.

Someone please tell me that YT video of DM just has the audio and video completely out of sync... and that Ed is not actually lip syncing that?

*Not the same ball of wax as ticket prices and artist compensation, IMO.
The only hat i hate is Josh’s

yup, the Black Crowes did the "Instant Live" thing in 2005-2006 as well, and while the recordings were good, they were very raw
Contrast this with some of the earlier shows they put up on Nugs that had been given a little bit of TLC and the difference is night and day

Nothing about that video indicates lip syncing to me.

Yeah it was my playback, first time I watched it my video and audio were awkwardly off, false alarm

I went this long without remembering there's a risk (it's a small risk, but still a risk) that Josh might sing Purple Rain when I see the band later in the year.
