I've thought about how difficult it is to defend yourself against allegations of this nature. Someone said you did something at a party 30 years ago, and then everyone turns on you. With that said, it is not difficult to believe Rapp's story, especially after what Spacey wrote, which really was a terribly worded apology.

In this environment it can definitely be difficult, but many aren't denying it. If someone accused me of doing this I would fucking go to war to defend myself. I never believe these stories based on the word of an accuser alone, but either these guys are on a serious guilt trip, or they are getting epically bad advice.

Agreed, having to come out this way is not a help towards the gay community.
His actions were at a party 30 years ago. 30 years is a long time though. Is there a time limit on how long you can hold someone accountable? I don't mean in a legal sense, more of a public opinion. I can understand the victim holding a grudge and there is no excuse but it was over 30 years ago.

I mean, a lot of the Catholic church stuff was decades ago. Does that mean we don't hold them accountable anymore?
