Going to Tenerife in the Canary Islands Spain today. It’s now just over 5am, and we’re on our way to the airport. Been thinking about this trip for months now. Will be challenging with a two year old on the plane, and constantly around water in Tenerife, but overall it should be a great trip.

In a way it was, even if I don’t really have one.

About 90 minutes until we land at Oslo Airport. Going somewhere is fun, but the travelling itself is often quite boring. Look forward to getting back to the apartment now.

What’s the best Hawaiian island to stay on?

Maui was my favorite. Good combo of developed areas and natural attractions and not too crowded (prob even less so now). Kauai is great too. Oahu is not as bad as some snobs claim but it is very developed and crowded.

Plus from Maui you can most easily do a one day trip to see Volcanoes National Park on the big island.

Thanks, bart!

We decided to scrap our plan to stop over in Hawaii on the way to Australia over Xmas. We’ll do it eventually.
