I just made myself laugh out loud imagining Uilleann pipes turning up at the end of this song.

After further review, I have deduced that this is a song about the fucking moon.

This one sounds nothing like I was expecting/hoping for. Mikes leads are a bit over the top. I'm not hearing the pink Floyd that mike speaks of in his lead work on this album.

I think if will grow to enjoy this one but will take some time

Mikes been listening to a different Pink Floyd than everyone else. Pink Lloyd, the inspiration is undeniable.

FWIW, I can hear Floyd / Roger Waters in "Sirens" and "Yellow Moon".

I know Eddie elongating his vowels is supposed to be a bad thing, but I like how he stretches out his words in this song.

Agree, but here it's part of the melody and not an affectation.

between this and sirens, this is clearly more pink floyd influenced. there's something else to it i just cant put my finger on. im sure someone will figure it out. i think its really good song, should be huge live.
