I think they said 1923. But I could be off by a couple of years.

Even still, he seems too old. I guess it's possible, though.

Undercover agent Mike D'Angelo seemed to be pretty happy with himself last we saw.

As was I. I didn't really think that they'd have Nucky get convicted of tax evasion and then die in an old peoples home.

I was too. Considering what they were forced to work with, I think they handled this final season pretty well. The first half I had some issues with, but the last 4 episodes or so were great.

Chalky's last scene is one of my favorite moments in the entire run. And I thought the final episode was shot beautiful. It was very surreal looking, and everything wove together quite beautifully. Well done.

The fact that his mob enemies didn't get him (which is the way that he always thought he would go) but that he died at the hands of someone much, much closer to him was fitting.

By the way, the two guys that they showed during the last scene right before Nucky got it, were they Lucky's guys or the Feds? I assume the latter because of the badge that guy showed while Nucky lay there dying.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. Loved Capone's scene with his son, too. Going to miss this show...a lot.

The theme with the flashback really were connected to the last scene. Nucky's misery created the darmondy misery and it eventually had to end.

I'm happy with how it ended, given the constraints. The finale was sad to me, seeing how much a toll the life had taken on Nucky. Nucky took care of everyone he cared about, and then he got taken care of.

so why were the Feds watchin Nucky?

Also, my old time medical knowledge ain't what it used to be; why were they slicing open the stomachs of the crazy chicks in order to cure them?
