Oh, and guys, GA is the way to go. I was like towards the back, and still had plenty of room. Where I was standing was better than any seat, and it was easy to get in and out of the pit. Glad I went that route over the reserved seating.

I can confirm that as well. I think the band is just send DimitrisPearlJam the setlists at this point and he's going straight off of that.

Overall, I enjoyed the show. Great mix of songs and Stone was great as he has been all tour. My only concern is that Ed's voice is gone. Anyone who heard him before the Philly shows got lucky as he's back to raspy and lost the deep baritone he had recovered. He drank water most of the night so it might be just a cold, but I don't have high hopes for Tuesday night.
Its because of blood most likely

If his voice was already in rough shape its odd that they did stbc, habit and blood in one show.

The Jeff thing was really weird. I just happened to be focussing him at the time. He went off stage on Mike's side and handed his bass to a tech and said something to him. I expected him to grab his YL bass. He then walked behind the kit towards Stone's side. I was expecting Smile or something. He then tore off his IEM. He was behind the curtain before the song even ended. Stone was off stage quickly too. Ed and Matt exited. Mike waved. No group bow. Very strange.

I hope he was ill or sad over the loss of Lou Reed. I hope it's something "human" and not band-chemistry related. It's a shame this is already a news item.

If they got in a fight and cancel these last two shows of this leg, I'm gonna be pissed.

The GA there was very different the previous shows I had seen on this leg. Much, much smaller and less crowded. It must have kicked ass. 8-)

I think I posted something similar after BK2, but this cements it for me that Blood has got to go. And playing it 3x in one week? :shake:

Hopefully when they get to Charlotte for your show he has healed a bit, but you two should listen to Black from WOR2 and then from last night and I think she will change her tune.

Maybe Jeff's vagina was acting up? Or could it be that Ed might be drinking a little too much. He was pretty sloshed in hartford.

Great seats up close, bad sound on Stone's side. LROM sounded fine. As soon as I heard Lou died I put I'm Waiting For The Man on, and sure enough as soon as Matt started up the drums I knew.

It was a weird set, but it didn't lose momentum. Great crowd.

In looking through my pics, Jeff actually looks upset.

Yeah I noticed this too but figured he just forgot to say his name or something, thought it was kind of odd. At that point Ed was getting worn out and rightfully so, that setlist was blistering for the most part and the energy was palpable. Prob the best PJ show I've seen in recent years. Didn't see Jeff storm off though, I hope everything's alright.

That could have been the best live version of Man Of The Hour that I've seen. I thought Yellow Moon and Lightning Bolt were killer as well. While the studio cut of LB is stellar, the ending is SO much better live rather than that fucking fade out that cuts the balls off Stone's solo at the end....

Still my favorite song of theirs live, that'll never change, even if Black sounds like shit. If they start playing BRY, I'd be ok with them ditching Blood 8-)

Wow thanks for posting those pics man, they are great. I snapped a shitload of pics of Eddie swinging around on the giant bulbs but pretty much none of them turned out, shitty iphone camera. I did get a decent pic of Eddie when he came over to share his wine with us! That was fucking awesome and unexpected.

Encore 1 looks great. I'd love to catch one of these shows with Yellow Moon starting that part of the set.

Actually in watching a video, he sounded pretty spent by the end of that one. Not the best vocal performance. I don't care if they're off. They're older. I just care if the spirit's there and the crowd is into it. Good set last night overall.
