I dunno which run to choose though, I don't think they seem to be as cohesive as the SG run

I think Ten / Vs. / Vitalogy, Vitalogy / No Code / Yield, or Yield / Binaural / Riot Act, could be eligible three-album runs.

I think maybe the fact that bands like SG, Tool and RATM only really have 3 huge albums makes it easier for me to view them as a better run, whereas Pearl Jam having up to 9 really good albums kind of dilutes their effect somewhat
