Why do we do the blank tracks? Are we trying to guess the artists during our reviews? Or is it to have a listen with out prejudging based off of your thoughts on a band?

So you don't know what's coming until the song plays.

i'd much rather someone create a mix that they think is perfect, whatever that would mean, rather than trying to satisfy me based on a perception of what i like. i know the issue of "perfection" is thorny, but my point is that the mix have some meaning that isn't dictated by placating me.

Just make a mix that pumps your nads. That is all that matters. If it doesn't pump your mix partner's nads that is their problem, not yours.

No one should get too hung up on catering it, that's silly. I know I'm not.

That's what Im hoping for, and it will be cool if i get into a few more bands because of it.

Looking though and I see a few Apple Lossless and a lone purchased AAC. Is that going to be a problem, if by the off chance my partner isn't on the iTunes teet?

You can convert to mp3, can't you?

I listened to my mix while I was driving from Orlando to Tampa at four in the morning. I thought it sounded great, so undoubtedly the person who gets it will think it's terrible. My apologies in advance.

Can we include write-ups to go along with the mixes we create, so that the recipient can have an idea of what went into the song selections, sequencing, etc? I've been involved in mix exchanges in the past where even though I didn't immediately dig a song as much as the mix creator obviously did, I liked knowing what they were going for…and in some cases it's helped me appreciate something more so than I might have on my own.

MP3 is preferred, but I can convert it if you want. But I think your partner does use itunes.

Might be more appropriate after your identity is revealed?
