I don't know if this is a thing outside my part of the world, but it's a Christmas tradition if not an institution here.
if you have any kids you should show them this. The Snowman. It's a beautiful little film and the music is just gorgeous. Proper Christmas spirit. You guys have any favourites?

I'm in Aus and don't remember growing up with the animation but I do vaguely remember the original picture book. Watched it for the first time this year when I took my three year old to a screening in a concert hall with a live orchestra. He was pretty entranced and didn't budge from my lap for the 50 odd minutes of the show. For him that's basically a five star rating :)
