They are doing that at a place in Denver tonight apparently.

Yes, The Elder is still the best. Ever. Maybe.

I agree. But the Canoe Paddler was decent as far as their standards currently are.

Filling up a couple of growlers at a local nanobrewery here in Buffalo called Community Beer Works. They started out last year and have a really nice pale ale, brown ale, Belgian amber and just came out with a really nice dark saison called The Soft Bulletin. They're all local guys and their beer is now in pretty much every bar with decent beer around the Buffalo area. Any readers of thhis thread in WNY should definitely give them a try.

Local guys are getting their beer in every restaurant possible here, in town; they have a solid ale and a really nice coffee stout but that's it, next up is an IPA... if it rocks I am in trouble as they are a stones throw from home.

Weren't we just talking about this in another thread? You must have picked this up right after.

Stone comes out with the Enjoy By's about 3-4 times a year, and release them in different parts of the country. Illinois got the 12/21, and it was really good (although I don't think it was as good as Hopslam or Pliny). They just tweeted this week that most of them are brewed the same with only a slight variation of among them.

And because it's still the season, I picked up a 4-pack of this today:

Really, really good (although I'm a sucker for bourbon-barrel aged imperial stouts). If you can find it, grab it.

Gonna start brewing in the next month. My first brew will be entirely generic but I hope to expand on that on the next.

I realize it's not scientific by any means, but seriously, LOL at In The Mood beating out Two Hearted Ale.

lot of similar versions in the later stages. I like Karl Strauss Tower 10 Ipa, and I'm a fan of Ballast Point in general. I still like a lot of the stuff that Victory has been up to though too. Yakima Glory needs wider distribution.
