Coach wrote:Schefter of ESPN speculating Revis ends up with Philly or New England. Now add Cleveland and Oakland to that list. So many rumors.....
I think CLE and OAK are only options on a trade. If both of them want Revis to take less money, all he can do is say no and force the Bucs to cut him, thus giving him the choice of where to go.

Marshall Faulk kept raving on NFLN how those three should sign with the Broncos, and kept comparing them to James/Wade/Bosh.

Amid all the transactions, this is the best one of them of all. Huge props to Jim Harbaugh for this reunion and fresh start.

0. they constantly reference that off season as something they wont repeat. id love to see ware in philly though. if they sign revis they will have to move one of the starting corners.

looks like the birds are going cheap. thats fine with me, there's no one worth getting into a bidding war for. they are still gonna need a pass rushing OLB. there were rumors that the eagles were gonna trade for dion jordan, but that has seemed to have died down.

The Eagles got all their spending out of the way with their own before FA started, so it only makes sense that they'd "go cheap" now. They look to have their shit together.

exactly. it was a pretty good off season considering they didnt even really bring anyone that big in. resigning jason peters, jason kelce and keeping both maclin and cooper were their best signings. kelce is gonna be the best center in the league for a while, peters is the best tackle right now. i think maclin can put up better #s that desean in kelly's offense, so expect jackson to get moved next off season...after the eagles win the super bowl.

The Eagles are going to be very tight against the cap for 2015, and the easiest way for them to get room is to cut Jackson. I agree that this is likely his last year in Philly.

Meh. He'll just get hurt in the preseason and miss two years or something.

I really wished that they signed Decker instead. He's better, and if he has to leave Denver I want him to go to the NFC.

NE would be crazy not to find a way to fit Revis in their cap. Their corners now are Alfonzo Dennard and...who? Is Arrington still under contract?

I'm very surprised that the Browns cut Brandon Weeden. Yes, he sucks, but he had all but about $500k of his salary guaranteed. They didn't even want to run him through as camp fodder before setting the rest of that sunk cost on fire?

Given the market, Revis will now command more $$ than any corner has received. I doubt he signs with NE, which prides itself on balance and value and trading picks for more picks. Belichick will just pick a guy up off the street and plug him in. I'm serious. I think one starting corner will be a street free agent. But, somehow, it'll all work out, they'll ride Brady and Belichick, and the Pats will lose the AFC Championship again.

Surprised he took a one year deal but this is a big upgrade over Talib.
