Same here. Not my favorite of the tour, but a great one.matt reeder wrote:Listening to Saratoga right now. This might be the best show ever.![]()

Mine too. I love how they play one song from each of their albums over the first 6 songs.Birds in Hell wrote:West Palm Beach 1 is one of my all-time favourite Pearl Jam boots, amazing show.
Band's on fire at times. I know that's a bit of a cliche, but Insignificance->Better Man is awesome.DeLima wrote:Mentioned this show in another thread...anybody who hasn't heard Detroit 2000 needs to.
set: Go, Corduroy, Grievance, State of Love and Trust, Tremor Christ, Elderly Woman, Insignificance, Last Exit, Animal, In My Tree, I Got Shit, (Romanza)/Better Man/(Save It For Later), Even Flow, Daughter/(WMA), Thin Air, Jeremy, Given To Fly, Rearviewmirror
enc 1: Nothing As It Seems, Last Kiss, Spin The Black Circle, Crazy Mary, Parting Ways (full-band premiere)
enc 2: Fuckin’ Up
Listened to this one the other day... easily my most listened to show from 2000matt reeder wrote:Listening to Saratoga right now. This might be the best show ever.![]()

Yeah that was a scorcher, the main set is awesome. Grievance+SOLAT, I'll take it. This was my hometown show in 2000 so I had 10c seats. I saw 10 shows that tour and while this wasn't the most memorable for many reasons, it was very solid.DeLima wrote:Mentioned this show in another thread...anybody who hasn't heard Detroit 2000 needs to.

I did attend Nashville and it was the least of the 6 shows I caught in 2000. It was really hot and Ed just didn't have the energy he had 2 nights before in Memphis. Now Memphis is a great listen!Herd Behavior wrote:I know I'm partial because I attended these shows, but I really love West Palm 1 and 2 and I believe Tampa is one of the best shows ever. Greatest performance of Garden that you will EVER hear!!!
I think Nashville is sooo underrated. Best version of DTE besides SVT. (I didn't attend Nashville)
I too agree 2000 was their best tour but I also saw them in 98 for 2 nights in WPB.. That was magical.
One thing I think is that as the years go by and more albums are released, it definitely makes the older tours better. I for one know that I can go without anything from Avacado and Backspacer and be totally happy. But we will get those songs on current tours... And it just takes up space in a show where maybe I'd prefer to hear more songs from No Code and Binaural and Yield. Just a thought.
That's me. Well I used to run an ftp site for MP3s in 1998 out of my dorm (rearview mirror), and around 2003 or so I was updating theskyiscrape.com here. Posting news/setlists and weekly bittorrents.DeLima wrote:Leehro...Dan Leehr, right? I remember you from back in the day. What site did you used to run?
That ftp was huge for me. Remember it well. Got tons of shows from it.Leehro wrote:That's me. I remember that now, too. I got a bunch of stuff off of that. That was my freshman year in the dorm at college. I remember planning my first multishow PJ tour in that little room. Saw both Alpine shows - tore up the poster I bought and just threw it away -DeLima wrote:That ftp was huge for me. Remember it well. Got tons of shows from it.Leehro wrote:That's me.
