He had his memory wiped. He doesn't even remember who he is anymore. Kind of lame. I wasn't sure what brought that on or made him want to do that at first, but it's a mix between him finding out the Joker manipulated his entire life (basically turned him into Robin), and then what Bruce did to him in Batman and Red Hood (brought him to the spot of his death hoping he would remember how he came back to life so Bruce could use it on his son)

Ya not much of his death changed. The big change with Jason is that now apparently the Joker saw him as kid, before he was Robin, and decided to see if he could actually turn some street kid into Robin. Really REALLY lame... but that's the story they seem to be going with now. He got Jason's dad locked up, made Jason think his mom ODed but she wasnt really dead, and then magically the Joker had succeeded and created his own Robin.

worst part of this whole 52 universe is that im still expecting something like: " hey im flash and im running backwards now so everything goes back to normal".

Is it possible that Jason could be the next Robin? Not that the Red Hood annual gave any hints towards that, but I guess at this point it's not the craziest idea.

It's been a few months since I went and picked up any comics/graphic novels. I might pick up a new (for me) Batman collection after work today. Barnes and Noble is the only spot on the way home so I'll be stopping there. Wanna know what the worst thing about my Barnes and Nobles is? The comics area is right outside the bathroom. The isle always has a slight shit odor.

I'd be ok with it if it was a more mature and re-imagined version of Robin. Again, I'm still pretty doubtful it will happen, but in the Red Hood Annual last week

after he had his memory wiped the week before, he accessed a computer to find out about himself and he was disgusted to find out that he was a now a "killer". So now he has left the group to find his destiny. The only reason I wonder if he could possibly be the new Robin is because he made peace with Bruce and was basically back as part of the family the past few months before Damian's death.

Either way there will be a new robin, probably a female, but I would be ok with a more mature Nightwing type side kick for a while. I also think he will get rid or the Red Hood identity and come up with something new. Hell, maybe he will be the next Oracle.

Overall the new 52 hasn't worked out too well.

I'm trying to think what I have enjoyed from the New 52 so far. Aquaman, Batman, Dial H (canceled now), Green Lantern, and Batman Inc I think have been mostly good. As a dad, I actually can enjoy Batman & Robin a bit more now too. The other titles I have read, not so much. I really should start reading Animal Man. That's supposed to be pretty great, right? And I still enjoy Red Hood but it's a mostly shit comic. It's getting a little more interesting now that they are focusing more on Arsenal.

I wish I could get into Marvel stuff, but they have so much going on I don't even know where to start. For me I'm mostly interested in a bunch of the Image comics and the DC comics I listed.
