A tournament would actually be pretty cool with the right number of teams.

I find it very hard to go off In Utero for my ten favourite Nirvana songs. That album is faultless.

Who wants to run this thing?

i don't know how these tournament things work, i've never done one. what are the rules?

Whoever runs the show usually sets up the rules.

I'd suggest:
- A snake style draft (as usual).
- Each player drafts 10 songs.
- You must take one song from each of the studio albums (Bleach, Nevermind, Incesticide & In Utero) and one non-album track -- the other five can come from anywhere. -- but maybe to keep people from hording, you can't take a second song from a given studio album until you have one from each (but whatever).
- I would say demos and live tracks are totally up for grabs, but not if you already have one version of the song already on your team (like you can take Rape Me from In Utero, but then that means you can't take the demo or any live version of it).

Those are just off the top of my head thoughts/ideas.

Are we doing this or what? My suggestion for rules, based on DcTs post:

- A snake style draft (as usual).
- Each player drafts 8 songs.
- You must take one song from each of the studio albums (Bleach, Nevermind, Incesticide & In Utero), one non-album studio track, one song from Unplugged, one non-Unplugged live track, and one wild card song from any source you want. To prevent hoarding and keep things interesting, the wild card song must be your final pick.

I think 8 songs makes more sense, given that we're only working with four studio LPs, but whatevs. Ya'll ready to do this thing?

Also, why does everyone consider Incesticide as a studio album? It's not. It's more of a b-sides/rarities/Peel Sessions thing. It does contain a couple of 'top 8' songs of mine, though.

All someone needs to do is randomize the usernames and set draft time limits.
