Unless you count The Simpsons as a sitcom, in which case it's three.

yeah i just read they were just going to do ten, but it got extended to 12...not sure if the plan is to start there

some of the seasons are really short though...i think the office has a good bit more episodes total

"Seasons" is a little misleading since they only do ten a year. There's lots of sitcoms that had shorter runs with more episodes. Still though, it's lasted longer anyone expected and it's pretty impressive for a show to be on for 10+ years with no changes to the main cast.
I mentioned Simpsons but there are other cartoons (South Park, Family Guy) that has been on more than twelve years.
