Editing a first novel is hard. Almost as hard as writing the damn thing to begin with.

That's my goal for the year--to be done with it.

Anyone have reliable beta readers?

I walk home from work now, because I hate public transport, and it takes 90 minutes. So I've got myself a microphone, and some speech to text software - going to make the whole writing shindig a whole lot easier.

This second novel is starting to wind down. I'm 51,000 words in. I was aiming for about 70,000 an I think I might just hit exactly that. We'll see.

But it's going well. I've definitely in the final act and closing in.
