I hope they add some episodes of WCW Thursday Night Thunder. We want Shark Boy! We want Shark Boy!
They have some AWA rights (hence the DVD they put out about it), but I don't think Vince has ever been able to pry what ESPN owns out of their hands, and I'm pretty sure ESPN owns quite a bit of stuff since they were showing AWA most afternoons in the 80sAndySlash wrote:they definitely have awa rights. i'm pretty sure they used it in network marketing (which is why i was expecting to see some out of the gate), but maybe i'm just thinking of news bits on it.
here's an (i assume) fairly accurate list of what they do have the rights to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WWE_Libraries
There are some serious classics in that video library.numbers wrote:I'm almost hoping Ring Of Honor goes out of business so that WWE can scoop up that video library.

That's the match that I looked for on YouTube to no avail. I'd like to rewatch it.numbers wrote:Love rewatching the 5 star matches of the past on the network. Austin-Hart at Wrestlemania 13 is the greatest match of all time for me.
Anything Yokuzuna was boring. The most interesting thing I remember about Yokozuna was Vader blasting him in the balls on Raw. I'm still not sure if that was kayfabe or not.Simple Torture wrote:The first half of the Wrestlemania Rewind on WM 10 is great; that match between Owen and Brett is worth a rewatch. The second half, which covers Brett-Yokozuna at the same WM, is boring as hell by comparison.
My favorite Yokozuna moment was when he squashed Hacksaw Jim Duggan. I always hated that guy.CopperTom wrote:Anything Yokuzuna was boring. Ugh. He would have been the perfect guy to be the savior of WCW once Hogan had buried everyone they had on the roster. Instead, he's booked like he's Barry Windham or something, a midcarder who grew up in the business. It would be like if WWE had acquired Sting in 1996 and put him in an drawn out Intercontinental Title feud with Goldust, and then had him join DX as a lackey after that was done. He might have been done a few years later, but when WCW acquired him Bret was as good an in-ring performer as anyone they had.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:in 400-500 words describe your frustration with the misuse of Bret Hart's talents while part of WCW
