Realised recently that im almost totally indifferent to Riot Act. I hate S/T but at least the album summons energy to hate it. I could never hear RA again and wouldnt be bothered at all.,

I like RA a lot. It's sort of like No Code in that it's an anomaly in the band's catalog. Except for Save You, there aren't really any hits or songs that get much play in concert, so it hasn't worn out its welcome the way the band's most overplayed songs have (DTE, GTF, and the usual suspects). RA and Binaural are probably the two PJ albums I can still go to and hear things I hadn't noticed before. The effort was there. On RA the craft and nuance were still apparent in ways that disappeared afterwards.
