Hail Hail. That first note just killed me...I bought No Code and didn't listen to any other song for a long time.
Then it was the DTE video, so I bought Yield, and didn't listen to any other song.
I finally started warming up to the whole catalog around the time of the first leg of the US tour in 2000 and went back and listened to those albums in full, and bought all the rest (incl. too many bootlegs), realizing what an idiot I was.
I was a HUGE Nirvana fan so I kinda held that anti-Pearl Jam beef for a long time, even though it was stupid.
