I think I'll be okay with literally any title except that one.Sgt. Crackpot wrote:Guys, give Disney a break. It'll be something original
Like "The First Order Strikes Back".

Ya think? I really like the title, actually. It's menacing but also strangely poetic. I love the sound of the words, it has a really appealing cadence. Nothing clunky about it. And it's just blatantly accurate. And it has a comfortable nostalgia or reference point-ness. It feels like a proper Flash Gordon, space opera serial, title.stip wrote:The empire strikes back is maybe the second stupidest title in the entire trilogy (in a series full of them) beyond attack of the clones. It might be the worst. But the movie is great so no one cares/notices.
Plus The Empire Strikes First is probably the best Bad Religion album title.durdencommatyler wrote:Ya think? I really like the title, actually. It's menacing but also strangely poetic. they're all extremely descriptive.durdencommatyler wrote:Ya think? I really like the title, actually. It's menacing but also strangely poetic. I like A New Hope a lot. I don't hate the other two but I don't really like them either. Especially The Force Awakens. I think it's weird that it hasn't gotten more shit. Especially given how much people shit on The Phantom Menace.stip wrote:they're all extremely descriptive.durdencommatyler wrote:Ya think? I really like the title, actually. A New Hope, Return of the Jedi, and The Force Awakens are probably the three I like the best.
It's not getting that shit cos it's a far better movie than phantom or the other two.durdencommatyler wrote:I like A New Hope a lot. I don't hate the other two but I don't really like them either. Sure. I guess. But TPM -- the title, I'm talking about -- got a LOT of shit when it firs came out. Before anyone saw the film.dimejinky99 wrote:It's not getting that shit cos it's a far better movie than phantom or the other two.durdencommatyler wrote:I like A New Hope a lot.
